On Wednesday 8th April the choir gave a very commendable performance :-
"Music for Passiontide"
This included a selection from Karl Jenkins's "The Armed Man" along with religious and semi religious works from Bach, Haydn, Rutter,Tallis and Mozart.
The evening was very well received by an appreciative audience.

Our next concert, on the 1st October,is completely different and is entitled :-
"Show Time"
As the name implies, a varied selection of music from the shows.
Further details of the programme will follow.
There will be a repeat of this concert on Sat 10th October at the United Reform Chapel, Whiting Street

IMPORTANT NOTE
We are looking for some more Tenors and Basses to help us with these two concerts, and of course if they enjoy the experience, to stop on as full members for the Xmas concert, and future.
We would also welcome any Sopranos and Altos on the ladies side.
If anyone reading this feels like "joining up" we look forward to meeting you.
Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7-30 pm in Horringer Comm. Cr.
We are a pleasant crowd and you will be most welcome. The writer of this is a very old bass (old in all ways) and they haven't thrown him out yet!!!!!!!!!
